Do we need special equipment to mix and apply the adhesive?

We’d recommend mixing the adhesives with a drill mixer.  This ensures that both parts are mixed together fully and that a good bond is achieved.  Specialist application equipment is also available and the Envirostik Seam-rite machine is designed to apply Envirostik adhesives to the seam jointing tapes.  The Seam-rite machine dispenses the adhesive quickly and easily and ensures adequate adhesive is applied.

As with all tools, it’s advisable that they are regularly cleaned and maintained to ensure best application performance.
