LCFC Training Ground

LCFC Training Ground is the world-class headquarters of Leicester City’s senior men’s and Academy operation in north Leicestershire, complete with 21 playing surfaces including 14 full-size pitches. The 185-acre complex has been in operational use since December 2020, with the Foxes lifting a first-ever FA Cup crown within five months of moving into its magnificent new facility. The synthetic grass was laid with EnviroStik’s industry-leading adhesive solutions to provide a durable and lasting finish.

At the heart of the complex is the King Power Spectre, a dome housing not just an air-conditioned, synthetic pitch but also a media centre including a press conference room, broadcast facilities and hospitality space. The seven buildings throughout the complex are complete with all facilities for the Club’s professional men’s teams, football operations, offices, private accommodation, restaurant and first team recreation, as well as balconies overlooking the training pitch.

The Sports Turf Academy is a first-of-its-kind facility for the education and development of elite grounds staff and grounds service, aiming to train future generations of grounds professionals for deployment in sporting settings around the world.

EnviroStik’s adhesive solutions emphasise quality with future-focused formulations that are durable and technically efficient. Every batch is quality checked during and after manufacturing, meaning that users can be confident that they have a quality seam jointing adhesive for their synthetic grass installation. The market-leading company’s adhesive systems are fully approved to meet FIFA standards for synthetic grass pitches and playing surfaces.
